Not a fan of this painting. If we have $50k to spend on public art, how about commissioning 10 artists at $5k each (or whatever) to paint downtown utility boxes? https://www.civicjoyfund.com/projects/paint-the-city. Local artists painting current artistic visions adding some color to our downtown for everyone to enjoy everyday!
